1. Victoria Falls, Zambia

Located in the south west of Uganda, this is one of the last places on earth where you can see Mountain Gorillas in the wild and half of the world’s population live here. Tours are strictly limited to a small number of tourists each day, but if you can book ahead this is one of the highlights of any trip to Africa.
